Although I am sure you will do a credible job feigning surprise, I have an announcement. Mary Ann is a better parent than I am. While you probably don’t require further proof of this fact, I do have one more piece of evidence.
Mary Ann can feed Danielle a full bottle without waking her up.
That’s right. Fully unconscious feeding. I have no idea how this is possible, but it is. I am witnessing it at this very moment. Mary Ann is one talented woman.

I can't even imagine how she does that. You need to film her the next time and let us all see her wonderous talents.
see mothers and daughters are on the same page and like to trick the fathers so she might just want to trick you and pretends to be asleep while being fed. but hey if that really does happen more power to her.
wouldnt it be nice if babies just slept untill they could take care of themselves?
now don't tell me Stella didn'T do that...my kids are way to lazy to stay awake for feeding time...at least in the evening...the wake up to request food, but the second it's there they are gone....it's a atalent of the kid more than of the mother I would think....Karin

what would really make parents happy is to feed the kids without having to wake up themselves (the parents).. Hope they figure that out for MaryAnn's sake :)
Dave used to feed unconscious kids while unconscious himself all the time. I would prop a baby beside him in the bed, and prop the bottle in his hand. When the bottle was gone I would extract baby and bottle. I, however, was rarely unconscious for the first four months of our twins'lives.
