Pro-Israel policiesGet the picture? The prefix “pro” means that you are trying to encourage something, to make it happen more. As far as I am aware, none of the people where I work are going to fund a project to actually create more poor people.
Pro-Iraq War policies
Pro-murdering babies in witchcraft ceremonies under a full-moon policies
If you want to promote pro-poor policies, I recommend talking to these people, who have done a fabulous job in that area.

do you think that perhaps these ngo's are pro-poor people? if not for poor people, would they be necessary?
