Did she explain why you would be Stich? The other day bro. Heilpern said I reminded him of Hermione on Harry Potter. I'm not sure if that was a compliment, but it was a step up from when i was always compared to the villian in Disney movies.
I do acknowledge that Mary Ann probably knows you better. However Stich seems to impulsive for you. My experiance with the Perkins family is that you all are very thoughtfull before carrying out diabolicle scemes.
not everyone is good at spelling Katie- I still remember you giving Mom answers to my english questions. You were 5-6 and I was 10-11. I also remember showing you off to my friends on how you could spell anything they asked.
Ummm...Katie, since we're being picky with others' posts today, I'd like to correct your punctuation.
When the whole sentence (not just the section enclosed in quotation marks) is a question or exclamation, the question or exclamation mark goes outside the quotation mark.
For example:
Who wrote, "Ask not for whom the bell tolls"?
"I wonder..." is a statement, not a question. Your question mark should have been outside the quoted text.
Sorry, hope I didn't come off rude. It's just a pet peeve of mine when people make mistakes while they're correcting others. (Of course, fate will now ensure that I've made a mistake in this post.) Oh, well. :)
Without risking either overstatement or flattery, I can say that Cris is the most detail oriented person I know. Her post is quite correct right down to prediction that something would be incorrect in her post. :) I do, however, begin with the acknowledgement of her superior grammatical and editing skills.
Ellipsis points or spaced periods are used to indicate an omission of some kind. They ought to be done with a space before each period and after the last one if they appear in the middle of a sentence. If the sentence ends with an ellipsis a fourth period is added at the end and the first space is omitted.
Your first sentence should start: Ummm . . . Katie,
If someone were to make a trailing-off "wondering" statement, it ought to read: I wonder. . . .
In your example below it ought to appear: "I wonder. . . ," is a statement
This picky bit of grammar has been brought to you by the MLA writer's guide, with which I have spent far too much time to still be as generally bad at writing as I am.
You are all mistaken. There are no grammatical or spelling rules in blogs. That would interfere with the development of any misconceptions relating to what was not in the meaning of the entry. Dad
I totally agree, and because 99.8% of the entries of this blog are made in english nobody should care in the first place because too much time would be spent correcting typos. Altough...sometimes I do have to turn to my dictionary to find out if "they" can't spell or if it is my problem....
Cris, yeah you do come off as rude. I don't know you. I know Jason and I think he knows I was being playful. It was pretty obvious as well, that you intended to be rude and then added that stupid smiley face at the end to seem like you were doing me a favor. Back to the original post, I was once compared to Dory from Finding Nemo.

I have always thought Mary Ann knew how to express the complex in just a few direct words with much meaning. Dad

Jason, do you ever stop and think, "Hey, I wonder if I'm spelling this word right?"

George Shrinks comes to mind.....not to say that you are small, but he is clever, thinks things through and knows a lot.
