Hand me downs
Several months ago, Mary Ann and I were shopping in the warrens of Sidon when we came across a little outfit for Stella that we rather liked. It’s not exactly something out the Carter line, but it had a certain amount of tie-dyed, Grateful Dead funkiness that we found really appealing. Plus, it was only about $3.50 so we bought it. Unfortunately, Stella has refused to wear since the moment she saw it. Over the last six months she has been absolutely resolute that she will not put this on under any circumstances.

Obviously, Stella has developed better clothing tastes than her parents! Well, at least her Dad, that is. Am I to take it that she will also not be wearing any grape colored, button-down shirts and white dockers?

I think Stella would wear that outfit if her Mom and Dad would wear similar tie-dyed ensembles. That would make a lovely family portrait...
Katie had a similar response to a blue velvet knicker and vest set- she would scream and throw a fit every time we stuffed her in that outfit.

That's ADORABLE! If your kids don't ever wear it, send it over to the states and I'll force any of my future little ones into couture of cuteness.
i love the little cardigans stella wears- the tie dye just wouldnt fit...
