Admittedly, the ‘Engrish’ here is pretty amusing. However, the main point is the mix of familiar and unfamiliar food items. Before getting too carried away though, it helps to know how far you are willing to go in dietary experimentation. A quick look around the shop shows that one of those menu items will lead you to eat a brain-on-a-bun.

Hmmmm, braaaains…

I'm glad it's served in lemon juice, I hate plain brain.
I think you should have gone with the "fool" under the hors d'euvre. Also, does the loubia sandwich come with specially shaped falafel?
did barb eat the brain?
That right there would have ended my adventures.
I once tried out a "goat testicles" sandwich ("bayd ghanam") in one of such snacks.
They smell like testicles... since you're a man you should know... and their taste is somewhat relevant to the smell.
This experience changed my view on food experimentation. Before that, untried food was good until proven otherwise. After this sandwich (actually I only ate a couple of bites from it) unknown lebanese snack food is bad until proven otherwise.
But yeah I do love snacks and the atmosphere, and from time to time I'm happy of making a good discovery like this one snack near my house where item costs 1$. No actually they taste OK and a lot of young people go there and it stays open until 1 AM.
Tell me that you took this pic in Syria man!
Oh I'd wanna taste brains! I wonder if they taste like spines?! (please tell us where is that brain selling snack place*down on her knees*)
And BTW I tasted "baid ghanam" alot and doesn't smell like human testicles, it has an exotic smell and an exotic taste, but it is good. It is cool to to see how your teenage kids would react to it (like my mom stated back then), but I'm telling you it tastes very good!
