Signage

After all the interest generated by the last sign a posted, I thought I would post another one. Anyone want to guess what the "Live Fast Food" might entail?

I'm reminded powerfully of a scene from the child-traumatizing movie Dark Crystal, where these charmers dine on a bowl of live mice-like things. Not the most appetizing memory.

No, I did not wait around for the establishment to open up and find out from the proprietor what their sign meant.

I"m glad that you agree that the Dark Crystal was traumatizing- to this day I won't watch the movie and have the picture of the vulture creatures sucking out the "life essence" from one of the young characters - with her face becoming gaunt and sunken-Blegh.

I bet they mean they cook it to order or something like that- not frozen or something.

Well it is sushi, so maybe they meant to say "very recently live". Funny, though. I have never noticed that part of the sign nor have I eaten there, though I have had 2 people tell me that it's pretty good... which I found sort of surprising.

I read the sign differently. I guess cuz I'm American. I thought it meant live it, like a way of life. I thought, "what an odd way of marketing fast food in Europe." I'm not really sure how you would live fast food as a way of life.

maybe they mean that your food is prepared "live" in front of you.
