I wanted to know if that was an electric or hybryde

It's a "smart", look it up. No it's neither an suv nor an hybryd. I think it runs on a 3 cylinders engine and it's length is about the width of most SUVs.

Yeah, look it up. Geez.

Americans who aren't really into cars might not get the humor in this, because both "Brabus" and "Smart" are European companies.

I think that the intended humor of this post is the fact that "Brabus" is a company that specializes in high-performance after market engine tuning for really high-end cars like Mercedes and Maybach.

And the owner of this car either paid big-bucks to trick out his crappy Smart Car's engine... or he bought a "Brabus" bumper plaque so he can pretend as if he spent more on the car's engine than the car itself. I'm not sure which is sadder...

It's like in the US, when you see the really pimped out Dodge Neons driving around...

I, on the other hand, find this funny because whenever I see "Brabus," I think "Bra Bus," and picture a family of signing and dancing underwear driving around in a "Partridge Family" style bus...

Which is why I need to lay off the lsd.

I thought "Bra Bus".

Is that car a two stroke?

Actually the Brabus Smart is a legitimate car (limited edition), the product of a jv between Smart (i.e. Daimler-Chrysler)and Brabus. It apparently has a more powerful engine and can make it up to 221 km/h. There are a number of articles on the car, unfortunately only in German. Here is one:

For those of you from the US, the Smart is a tiny, TINY car (think the Mini) that is nevertheless surprisingly roomy inside. Because it is so small you can park it pretty much ANYWHERE, and it uses very little gas (about 6L. per 100 km!). Problem is that its engine sucks, and you cannot drive very quickly with it (perhaps 110 km/h. It's great for cities, not so great for the autobahn.I guess the point of this limited edition with the souped-up engine, is that they wanted to make up for that drawback. Although, I cannot tell from the picture if the Brabus Smart is no longer as tiny as a regular smart, or not.

Sorry, the figure on gas consumption was for the Barbus, which of course guzzles more gas. A regular Smart uses between 4 and 5 L/100 Km.
