In just two short hours, I'm off to the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave for two weeks. I wonder how much it has changed since my last trip...
Mary Ann and the girls will be staying back in Beirut, which I don't like at all. This will be the longest I have been away since we had kids. I'll probably be going nuts by the second day.
Anyway, got to go pack.

Errr... with the report coming out?!
Sorry, that was a typical paranoid Lebanese response!
Mary Ann& the girls, if you need anything, the bloggers are here for you. Juuuuuuuuuuuuuust whistle. I mean post.
Thats tough man.
tell mary ann to bring the babies to st. louis. i bet stella's a riot to hang out with.
Travel safely, journey well!
Matthew will be too busy to notice we aren't around. We on the other hand, are here, with the only difference being his absence.
I'd love to bring the girls to St. Louis, but there are some logistical problems with that. For one, Suz, you are not in St. Louis.
It is nice to know that I have the collective support of the Lebanese Bloggers. I always tell people what a friendly bunch you all are.
i'm sorry that mary ann et al. won't be coming with you, but i'm still excited to get to hang out next week. we even just got cable so you'd have something to do.
Yeah dont worry, your Marie-Anne and your kids are in safe hands with the army of fans from your blog to help them out should anything happen, God forbid!
That's in addition the fact that they'll probably be evacuated on the 1st Marines chopper if, God still forbidding, it really gets bad.
Yeah I have been told before that I am bad at comforting people.
don't give in to manipulation, anonymous.
should i get the salmon reference? are you swimming upstream? are you pink when done? do you smell like fish?
Josh,
It's the returning to my roots angle.
