A few of the events from the last day of my life:
Registered for a German language certification test.
Found out about German school for Stella.
Registered for Chinese classes.
Got my first employee evaluation since joining the UN (I'm decently happy with it).
Ate a nasty tasting but decent looking hamburger (I was very hungry).
Regretted eating the hamburger, as I now feel rather sick.

I'm making an oblique refrence to a TV show I've never watched. Back with the series 24 first came to Germany, the opening scenes claimed it was a depiction of "...the last 24 hours of my life...". I was rather surprised when the show kept going after the first season (didn't watch BTW).
One of my colleagues said it was actually a play on words and that by last, they meant the most recent. So, I figured I could abuse the phrase as well.
This is proof that I am easily manipulated by popular culture on television.

"24" is one of the most popular shows on TV right now in America. I've never watched it either. I think it's won a couple Emmys.
some poor souls even sit down and watch the entire series on DVD in one go..
...or even all the series on DVD over a couple of weeks...ahem.

german school is nice, especially if you live around jounieh.
If you live around beirut IMO Lycee Francais is great because it is a very cosmopolitan school
If you live around hamra/AUB the International College is great. IC students have a very hight level in BOTH english and frensh which is amazing.
I gues Mr. B didn't go to IC then. I hear the German school sucks, not only in German but English as well.
